ATF 2019 opens in Ha Long, Vietnam
The 39th ASEAN Tourism Forum 2019 has opened, with the spotlight firmly on Vietnam’s northern province of Quang Ninh.
ATF 2019 takes place in Ha Long, a destination witb a global profile but the event also serves as a showcase for Quang Ninh’s lesser known attractions.
ATF 2019 also brings the curtain down on the National Tourism Year 2018 – Ha Long – Quang Ninh.
ATF has a programme of over 100 official business, education and social functions for 1,500 global delegates.
It includes the three-day TRAVEX trade mart which connects global buyers to tourism suppliers from ASEAN’s 10 member countries.
This year the theme is ‘Power of One.’
Vietnam has 70 key suppliers showcasing their tourism products to international buyers who hail from 53 countries.
ATF TRAVEX will see nearly 10,000 one-on-one business meetings.
