Atinera names Stuart Winter ceo
Atinera, the technology provider of leisure travel software, has announced that Stuart Winter has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Winter previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Atinera EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) where he has been responsible for sales, marketing, client services and operations for the Atinera EMEA operating company.
Before joining Atinera in January 2001, Mr Winter was Managing Director of Link Technology Limited, which focused on the distribution of corporate software solutions across Europe. Mr Winter also participated in the creation, development and management of Tandem Computers’ first Pan-European Business Unit, which focused on reservation and distribution systems for the travel and leisure industry.
Mr Winter will assume the role of CEO as part of Atinera’s planned transition to full-scale solutions rollout across all three operating regions – Americas, EMEA and the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Vizitei will continue to serve as President and oversee worldwide technology development and strategy.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Vizitei said: “In a little more than a year since our formation, Atinera has established the infrastructure, technology and staffing resources to successfully market and deliver technology solutions worldwide. As Atinera now shifts focus from development to delivery, I am proud to hand over to Stuart Winter a very capable company fully prepared to meet the needs of the global leisure travel industry.”
Ilya Pavolotsky, Chairman of Atinera and Chief Operating Officer of Fourth Dimension Software, said: “Having signed market-leading companies such as Travelocity and SAS, Atinera has made important accomplishments and demonstrated great promise under the direction of Yuri Vizitei.”
“As the company now moves into this next important phase, we are very confident that, under the leadership of Stuart Winter, with his impressive track record in the sales, marketing and delivery of global IT solutions, Atinera will fulfill that promise beyond all expectations.”
