Australia Covid cruise ship protocols finally scrapped
It is now smooth sailing for Australian cruisers.
All remaining Covid cruise ship protocols have been dropped.
It includes the end to masks, tests and proof of vaccination requirements.
Cruise ship Covid measures were dropped by the federal government late last week and have now been adopted by the states.
NSW Premier Chris Minns signed off on scrapping the Eastern Seaboard and Western Australian Cruise Protocols.
“We need to get life back to normal,” Minns said.
It was hailed by CLIA.
“This brings Australia into line with other countries internationally and gives clarity to cruise passengers,” CLIA Australasia MD Joel Katz said.
