Avis Budget appoints international commercial manager
Avis Budget Group EMEA has appointed Lynette Dungey as international commercial manager.
Dungey was most recently national sales manager retail and UK Airports and also worked for 10 years at Thomas Cook.
She joins the core Avis Budget trade leisure team headed up by Connie Georgiou, head of UK travel and international strategic accounts, global travel and partnerships.
The team is based at the EMEA headquarters in Bracknell, Berkshire.
In her new role, Dungey’s remit includes account management for travel agents and tour operators.
She will also support the trade marketing and PR activity that promotes the Avis brand within the industry.
"The appointment of Lynette Dungey reinforces the Avis Budget Group commitment to the trade; her experience will further strengthen our relationship with key operators and I’m confident that Lynette will play a key role in future expansion," said Georgiou.
