Avis names new MD for UK
Avis Europe has appointed Kevin Bradshaw as managing director of Avis UK, starting in August.
Bradshaw is currently MD of the Reuters Enterprise Information Division at Reuters plc.
He takes over from Stuart Gent, who is moving to take up a senior appointment with Bain capital, the global private investment firm.
Murray Hennessy, CEO of Avis Europe, said, “I am delighted to welcome Kevin to Avis. He has a very strong management track record and is ideally placed to lead the continued development of Avis UK.
“I’d like to thank Stuart for his tremendous contribution to Avis during some difficult years for the industry. He successfully led a comprehensive restructuring of the UK business and has laid the foundations on which Kevin can build.”
