Avolon completes delivery of 15 Airbus jets to IndiGo
Aircraft leasing company Avolon has completed delivery of 15 Airbus jets to IndiGo.
IndiGo is India’s largest passenger airline.
Delivery of the A320neo family aircraft started in September 2022 and has just been completed.
It is a sale and leaseback transaction with a mix of six Airbus A320neo jets and nine A321neo aircraft.
Paul Geaney, CCO, Avolon said: “We look forward to playing a central role with IndiGo as they continue to build on their position as a leading carrier.”
Avolon now has a total of 21 aircraft on lease with IndiGo.
Based in Ireland, Avolon has a global presence with offices in the US, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
