AWTE announces shortlist for 2018 awards

AWTE has announced the shortlist for its 2018 awards, taking place on September 10 at the Mayfair Hotel in London.

Shortlisted for the Company Award are Travelzoo, Holiday Extras and Gray Dawes.

Shortlisted for the AWTE Ambassador Award are Adam White, Baxter Hoare, Rob Kenton, Triangle Travel, and Jeremy Dixon, ROL.

In the running for Influential Women in Travel are:
Lisa Henning, The Travel Network Group
Lisa Minot, The Sun
Rachel Healey, Uniworld
Jessica Bain, Latin Routes
Tracy Sharp, Travel Up
Erin JOhnson, Silversea
Glynis Jeffery, Elegant Hotels
Suzanne Horner, Gray Dawes
Ruth Hilton, Travelcorp
Tracey Cheffey, Travelzoo
Wendy Lamich, HAL/Seabourn
Juliet Archer, Bluewater Holidays

Ann-Maria Agar, Ocean Holidays, Debbie Marshall, Silver Travel Advisor, and Hollie Rae Brader, Travel Weekly, have been shortlisted for a Business Impact Award.

AWTE chair Sarah Clayton-Turner said: "The shortlist for this year is outstanding, and the judges had a tough job.

"This year’s awards are going to be bigger and better than ever and we can’t wait for the event and announce the winners. In addition to the awards outlined, we will also be giving our AWTE Honorary Award."
