BA appoints trade-only groups agent
An automated service for booking groups with British Airways has been established.
The airline has appointed travel management company Lime Management as groups sales agent for the travel trade to handle bookings.
The Cheshire-based company intends to provide bookings via GDS, an online sales service and a dedicated call centre.
Companies have to complete an online groups registration form to gain access to the booking service at www.lime-management.co.uk.
Lime’s aviation manager Paul Johnson said: “This innovative booking system will ensure that travel companies receive a professional and comprehensive service for British Airways’ groups requirements.”
Lime manages BA sales for more than 500 UK-based travel companies.
