BA signs distribution deal with Worldspan
British Airways and Worldspan have signed a new three-year, global distribution agreement.
The agreement will provide Worldspan customers who participate in an opt-in programme access to British Airways’ full inventory, availability and fares.
The new deal comes into play on April 10.
It is believed the deal is the same as the agreement reached with Galileo, which is in the process of merging with Worldspan.
Under the deal, instead of charging 50p per sector for all flights, the fee for full economy bookings and above will stay the same, while the fee for discounted economy flights will double to £1 per sector.
Sabre has also renewed its distribution deal with BA.
