BA-Swiss codeshare routes unveiled
British Airways and Swiss International Air Lines are to codeshare on flights from London City Airport and Gatwick this month. From the autumn, Swiss will withdraw four flights a day between Heathrow and Geneva in place of BA codeshare flights. BA is to increase frequency on the route from six to eight flights a day from October 31. Initially the two carriers will codeshare on services from London City to Geneva and Zurich and Gatwick-Geneva from February 24. The flights go on sale on February 17. The codeshare services between the UK and Switzerland come as a result of a commercial tie-up by the two airlines announced last September.
