BA warns of delays due to thunderstorms
British Airways has warned that thunderstorms forecast across London today could lead to some flight delays.
The airline tweeted that passengers should check their flight status on the website.
The Met Office has issued a ‘yellow’ weather warning of rain, predicting intense thundery showers across the UK.
It said: "Scattered but potentially intense thundery downpours are likely to develop from the middle of the day onwards.
"The public should be aware that where these occur, they could bring a risk of surface water flooding, with hail and gusty winds posing additional hazards locally."
