Back of the net! New jobs all round at TUI sport division

TUI Travel’s sport division has undergone a shake-up with the following new appointments.
* Darren Marsh, previously from the sports division of Thomson Al Fresco, is the new managing director of the sports division’s UK based tour operating business and will be responsible for Thomson Sport, Sport Abroad and Gullivers Sports Travel.
* Former aviation commercial director at TUI Travel’s specialist and activity sector, Paula Lacey is to become managing director of sports division distribution.
* Claire Brand has been appointed director of rights activation in the sports division, a new role that will see her building on relations with the FA, NFL UK and Arsenal.
* Paul Hill will be the sports division’s ecommerce director and Karon Cronin, formerly finance director, will be commercial director events and licences. Laura Cooke will replace Karon as finance director EMEA.
* Nathan Wilson, who was the managing director at Thomson Sport, has been appointed managing director events and licences.
