Baha Mar launches first marketing campaign

Months after the much delayed first phase opening in the Bahamas, mega resort Baha Mar has launched its maiden marketing campaign.

Management also confirmed the second resort hotel will open on November 14.

Baha Mar’s ‘Life Spectacular’ campaign has two 30-second ad slots each from the point of view of a husband and wife couple.

It focuses on highlighting its diverse activities from nightlife and casino to cuisine and marine conservation.

"We needed to communicate that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach at Baha Mar," said Baha Mar vice president of marketing Karin Salinas.

"Every nuance of the resort from amenities to special experiences and offerings is purposefully created."

The company said the 300-room SLS Baha Mar will open later this month, joining the 1,800-room Grand Hyatt Baha Mar which opened in the spring.
