Balkan Holidays appoints head of marketing

Balkan Holidays has made two new key appointments to its sales and marketing team.

Louise Newton joins as head of marketing and PR and Lynsey Jones becomes regional sales manager for Scotland, Northern Ireland, Cumbria and North East England.

Newton was previously Hotelplan UK’s group head of marketing and before that was marketing manager for Inghams and head of sales and marketing for Somak Holidays.

Jones most recently worked for TUI and before that was based predominantly in the French Alps as a resort manager for Neilson Active Holidays and Ski World.

Balkan Holidays offers summer holidays to Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia and a winter ski and snowboard holiday programme to Bulgaria, Slovenia and Romania.
