BCD Travel snaps up Irish partner agency
BCD Travel has stepped up its presence in Ireland by acquiring Tommy Tobin Travel for an undisclosed sum.
The Irish company, the corporate travel arm of BCD strategic partner Joseph Barter & Sons, has more than 20 staff in locations including Dublin and Cork.
BCD UK & Ireland president and chief operating officer Mike Whalley said: “A shared passion for best-in-class service delivering true value to our customers exemplifies the successful partnership between BCD Travel and Tommy Tobin Travel over the past six years.
“Formalising this relationship through this acquisition is a logical step in BCD Travel’s strategy of ownership in key markets where our customers need us to be.”
