Bedbank.net expands in Eastern Med
Accommodation specialist Bedbank.net is opening an office in Cyprus to strengthen its position in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Commercial manager Sarah Astley has been recruited from Libra Holidays’ Beds4all division to head the office. She was previously responsible Cosmos’s Cyprus programme for more than 10 years.
Bedbank.net general manager Janette Bell said: “We are planning to duplicate our successes in the Western Med in the Eastern Med. We have recruited a strong team and we will be building on the already solid working relationships with many local hoteliers.”
Bedbank is encouraging hoteliers to take advantage of World Travel Market where it is exhibited for the first time to contract for the summer 2007 Eastern Mediterranean programme.
The company plans to offer pre-payment terms to hotels signing up to the programme to demonstrate its commitment to the region.
