Hotel group Best Western has named Tammy Lucas as new vice president of marketing.

It is a promotion for Lucas who most recently oversaw distribution partnerships.

She also managed the rebranding of Best Western Rewards in 2009.

Additionally, Best Western Hotels & Resorts has promoted Bruce Wienberg to vice president of operations.

Wienberg was appointed as director of international quality assurance in 2008, and in 2013 took on expanded responsibilities including quality assurance for all North American properties, training functions and the guest satisfaction program.

"Both Tammy and Bruce have made substantive contributions to Best Western and I know they will continue to help shape the brand’s future as we move forward," said David Kong, CEO of Best Western Hotels & Resorts.
