Bicycle incentive group tours offered in California wine country

LifeCycle Adventures in California’s Wine Country entered the corporate and incentive market and is now offering organized bicycle tours for groups of 10 to 100 people.

Tours range from custom-designed bicycle tours and team building events to private wine tastings, catered meals, lodging, spa treatments and various other recreational pursuits such as kayaking and hiking.

“Our attention to detail and quality of service set us apart,”said Tony Blakey, a native Englishman who started the company with Dan Moore in 2003.

Activities on the tours include easy-going rides in Dry Creek Valley, a lawn luncheon and visits to the nearby Ferrari-Carano Winery.

The company combines the flexibility of independent programs with the local knowledge of its guides. Tours are customized.

“What really sells us that we’ve been on the other side of the fence, so we understand there’s a corporate standard and we have an appreciation for how important it is to impress clients,”said Mr Blakey.
