Bingle’s back up to Speedo
A Report in The Sunday Telegraph says the resurrection of former Tourism Australia face and ambassador, Lara Bingle’s modelling career is firmly under way after her first shoot as the new face for iconic Aussie swimwear brand Speedo.
The $50,000 contract is a huge boost for the controversial Cronulla model, who made her name in Tourism Australia’s controversial Where The Bloody Hell Are You? campaign.
“Speedo has been around for so long and it’s exciting for me to be a part of such an iconic Australian brand,” she said.
Bingle, 20, recently celebrated her first anniversary with her partner, Australian Test cricketer Michael Clarke (above) over a home-cooked taco dinner.
The batsman credits his happiness with Bingle as part of his recipe for on-field success – while she says she appreciates the positive impact he has had on her.
“I’ve learned a lot from Michael,” she says. She also claims credit for his newly shorn locks, adding: “I did it myself … I love it.” “ I think it looks more masculine.”
