Bmi regional boosts South West with extra Milan flights

Bmi regional has increased its Bristol-Milan operation, to a total of five flights per week, with a weekend service due to be added for summer 2017.

The new schedule adds a flight from Bristol on a Wednesday evening, returning on a Thursday morning, to the existing twice-daily services on Monday and Friday.

In addition, for summer 2017 there will also be daily departures every Saturday and Sunday.

All fares with bmi regional include 23kg hold luggage allowance, complimentary in-flight drinks and snacks, allocated leather seating and 30 minute check-ins.

Bmi regional chief commercial officer, Jochen Schnadt, said: "Bristol Airport is a key UK hub for bmi regional and one which we are continually growing and developing.

"Earlier this year we enhanced our routes from Bristol to Dusseldorf and Munich.  This latest addition further complements our existing network and is a direct response to our customer needs for improved connectivity between the South West of England and Europe."
