Bmibaby replaced by full-service flights
Two regional routes flown by no-frills carrier Bmibaby are being replaced by full service sister company bmi regional.
The routes from Nottingham East Midlands Airport to Paris and Nice will switch from budget Bmibaby to bmi regional offering business and economy services in-flight.
The new schedules start on March 27, with bmi regional offering three flights a day on weekdays to Paris Charles de Gaulle, a daily service on Saturdays and twice daily flights on Sundays. Fares start at £42 one way inlcuding taxes and charges.
Nice will be served with daily flights on Saturdays and Sundays with fares starting at £52 one-way.
Bmi regional already serves Brussels from Nottingham.
The airline’s managing director Crawford Rix said: “The return of the Nice and CDG routes back into flight schedule will increase our weekly flight offering from 18 to 38 over three destinations from the Midlands airport.”
