Bouncers in their birthday suits
Clubbing fans heading for the German city of Cologne should be aware that one of its nightspots has employed a team of naked female bouncers.
According to the online news provider Ananova, the Beatclub has introduced the initiative as a new way of “combating troublemakers”.
The website quotes one of the team, 26-year-old Linda, who wears high-heeled boots, black suspender and a fur coat, as saying: “I haven’t had any trouble at all. If they are over 18 and well-dressed they have a good chance of getting past me.”
The boss of the club reportedly said that the initiative had doubled turnover and had “toned down the aggression” that exists at other clubs.
One customer is quoted as saying: “It makes standing in the queue a lot more fun. When they come out on to the street they have to wear a coat but it’s not fastened and there is plenty to see. It takes your mind off everything else.”
You have been warned.
