Brand USA, the new tourism marketing body for the United States, has launched a Ryder Cup campaign in conjunction with Your Golf Travel, the largest golf tour operator in Europe.

A 32-page Destination USA supplement, dedicated solely to the promotion of the leading golf travel destinations in the United States, includes Your Golf Travel special deals.

The publication will be issued directly to Your Golf Travel’s premium level clients, as well as being inserted into four key golfing publications – Todays’ Golfer, Golf World, Golf Monthly and Golf International – reaching a total readership of more than 1.5 million.

A digital version will also be emailed directly to 350,000-plus golfers.

The activity is taking place to tie in with the Ryder Cup, which will be held in Medinah (near Chicago), Illinois, from September 25-30.

Jay Gray, vice president of business development, Brand USA, said, "With such a prolific event as the Ryder Cup taking place in the USA this month, we wanted to work with a specialist company in the UK to focus on the assortment of golf courses and holiday experiences that are available."
