British holidaymaker in hospital in Ibiza after balcony leap
An unnamed British holidaymaker is in hospital in Ibiza after leaping from the balcony of his hotel room when police turned up to question him about a hit-and-run car accident.
The 28-year-old man is believed to have suffered spinal injuries, but he is still undergoing medical checks at the Can Misses Hospital in Ibiza Town, according to Mail Online.
He is alleged to have jumped from the second floor of the Hostal Rita guesthouse in San Antonio and fallen about 25 feet after opening his bedroom door to police officers.
They had wanted to question the man about a car accident in San Antonio at 5pm on Sunday, which is believed have involved a British biker who suffered minor injuries and an Irish woman who is in a serious condition in the intensive care unit of Neustra Senora del Rosario hospital.
On Sunday, a 34-year-old British man died after being hit by a bus in the same resort.
