British Tourism Week – Is It Worth It? Join the debate

Domestic tourism comes under the spotlight at the next TravelMole Travel Industry Question Time.

Industry leaders will discuss British Tourism Week – Is It Worth It? at the debate on February 15 in London.

Panellists confirmed so far are:

*VisitBritain head of government affairs Bernard Donoghue

*Tourism Alliance policy director Kurt Janson

*Hoseasons product director Sara Zimmerman

The Question Time will address key issues surrounding UK tourism in advance of the first British Tourism Week which runs on March 12-16.

Up for debate will be government funding of UK tourism, the controversy surrounding the online activities of both VisitBritain and VisitScotland, the distribution of domestic holidays through the travel trade, the promotion of UK tourism and the likely impact of the 2012 Olympic Games.
