Budapest Airport welcomes first Kuwait air link with Jazeera Airways
Budapest Airport, with support of Visit Hungary, has hailed the upcoming new route linking Kuwait and Hungary.
It becomes the first ever air link between the countries.
Operated by Jazeera Airways, the new route from Budapest to Kuwait City will run twice weekly, from June 5 to September 25, 2025.
Jazeera will fly Airbus A320 seating 174, on the route.
It marks the seventh Middle Eastern destination available from Budapest, alongside Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Israel, Jordan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
It also marks Jazeera Airways as the newest airline partner at Budapest Airport.
Visit Hungary also joined forces to help launch and promote the new route.
The seasonal service offers nearly 17,000 weekly seats to the Middle Eastern region, catering to both business and leisure travellers.
“We are delighted to welcome Jazeera Airways and celebrate this significant milestone in launching direct flights to Kuwait,” says Máté Ritter, Head of Airline Development at Budapest Airport.
“This new service highlights the strength of our network development strategy and growing demand for connections between Hungary and the Middle East.”
