Business executives looking more closely at travel expenses
Top-level business executives are growing more aware than ever of travel costs and policy compliance, says a new American Express survey.
The obvious reason is rising travel costs, said AMEX in its survey of 250 mostly mid-sized companies.
But still another reason for the growing concern is that travel costs are continuing to rise. Almost half of those polled said they expected 10% increases in travel costs next year.
Almost two thirds of those surveyed said they were watching travel costs more closely.
