Butlins opens first £10m hotel
Butlins has opened its first resort property, the Shoreline Hotel, at its site in Bognor Regis.
The £10 million property is being heralded by the company as “a new era of contemporary and sophisticated accommodation”.
With 160 non-smoking rooms, Shoreline Hotel offers three grades of rooms. Top of the range are Nelson’s Staterooms offering reserved parking facilities, flat-screen TV, king-size bed, leather sofa and armchair, bathrobes and slippers.
Rates for standard rooms start at around £79 a night for a family of four, on a room only basis, based on a minimum stay of three nights.
The new hotel’s facilities include all-day check-in, room service, an English bistro restaurant, cocktail bar, landscaped gardens, leisure space and greater privacy, bedrooms with wide screen TV screens and integrated accommodation for children, as well as sea views in most rooms.
Guests staying at the Shoreline Hotel can stay for three, four, or seven night breaks.
Butlins operations director Richard Bates said: “£10 million has been invested in the Shoreline Hotel to create a unique balance of contemporary style to Butlins.”
