Cambodia Airways signs first distribution partnership with Sabre
Sabre Corp has sealed a new long-term distribution agreement with Cambodia Airways.
Sabre becomes the first distribution partner for the new airline which launched in the summer of 2018.
"By selecting Sabre as our first distribution partner, we are confident that we are well-positioned to execute our expansion plan, both domestically and across Southeast Asia, said the airline’s CFO, Kevin Fu.
The airline has big plans for expansion in the short term and sees Sabre as a key partner in its mission to grow its footprint internationally.
It aims to start routes to China and Hong Kong and build up its fleet to 30 planes within the next five years.
The agreement gives more than 425,000 Sabre-connected agents access to Cambodia Airways’ fares and product.
As well as Asia, Cambodia Airways is also eyeing eventual expansion to Australia and Europe.
