Capela 100% CIM exam success – 3rd time in a row!
In the latest round of exam results from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), students from Capela Travel Training have once again enjoyed 100% success.
Capela entered a record number of students for the biannual CIM Diploma in Tourism Marketing assessment in June. Capela students’ 100% pass rate compares with CIM averages of 64% for assessment by exam and 90% for project assessment.
This is Capela’s 3rd consecutive session with an unblemished record, meaning no Capela student has failed a single module since December 2006. This success confirms Capela’s position as the leading travel industry organisation for marketing training in the UK and internationally.
Thomas Lynch, TUI Travel product development manager, jumped ship from Thomas Cook during the year-long Diploma course and found that just following the study programme gave him an edge in his interview:
‘My new prospective employers were impressed by my desire and ambition as exemplified by spending by own time studying for the CIM course.’
After joining TUI Travel, Lynch went on to complete the Diploma with almost perfect marks of three As and one B. Reflecting on the course, he says:
‘The Capela tutors know their way intimately around the CIM assignments and have an instinctive feel for how to help each student to reach their potential. This, together with their in-depth knowledge of travel and tourism, is the key to Capela’s success.’
