Capela CIM exam success continues…
In the latest round of exam results from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), students from Capela Travel Training have again enjoyed 100% success with their assignments for the Diploma in Tourism Marketing.
This is the 5th session out of the last 6, stretching back to 2006, where no Capela candidate has failed a single module, representing a 99% success rate over this period.
This pass rate compares with CIM averages of around 64% for assessment by exam and 89% for project assessment over the same period.
Gary Grieve, Capela managing director, comments:
‘We experienced a fall in demand in the last quarter of 2008 as belts were tightened. After a few months this was followed by a realisation that you can only cut training and marketing budgets for a short time as these are what sustains you and allows your business to develop.’
New students have joined the Diploma course recently from across a wide range of travel and tourism organisations, including:
Amberley Museum
Arblaster & Clarke
Doyle Hotel Group
Gran Canaria Tourism
Hilton Hotels
Hotels4u.com
On Holiday Group
Trinity House
TUI Travel
United Airlines
Viking River Cruises
Visit Scotland
Western Australia
Study for the Diploma in Tourism Marketing is by a combination of distance learning and intensive tutorials. You can start any time and study anywhere and you have the option to pay module by module.
