Caribbean islands start online marketing push
Travel offers from suppliers are being showcased on a new British Virgin Islands Tourist Board website www.bvitourism.com.
The site features a new design, improved navigation, new photographs of the BVIs, an interactive map highlighting how to get to there and what to see and do on the 60 islands of the BVI.
There are also links to the BVI Tourist Board’s presences on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
A special offers microsite www.bvitraveloffers.com has more than 30 travel deals from hotels, villas, resorts, sail charters and dive companies, with offers ranging from discounts and special rates to free nights and gifts.
The BVI Tourist Board has started an online marketing push in the US to promote the new web site and special travel offers, featuring promotions with Shermans Travel, Travelscream, Facebook and Google.
