Carnival Cruise Line to sail from San Francisco for first time
Carnival Cruise Line has announced it will sail out of San Francisco for the very first time.
Carnival Miracle will sail four 15-day voyages from the city in 2020.
Itineraries include Alaska, Hawaii, and Mexico.
Miracle will also sail from San Diego with winter season voyages ranging from three to 15 days from October 2020.
"Carnival is the number one cruise operator from the West Coast, and these new programs from San Francisco and San Diego, as well as the deployment of the brand new Carnival Panorama from Long Beach, speaks volumes to our confidence in the market," said Carnival Cruise Line president Christine Duffy.
The first ever sailing from San Francisco departs on March 19, 2020, and includes Alaskan voyages calling at Juneau, Skagway, and Icy Strait Point.
A 15-day Hawaii sailing departs on April 16, 2020.
The 2,100-passenger Carnival Miracle is currently based in Tampa.
