Carnival expanding agent meet and greet program
Carnival is growing its ongoing travel agent program ‘Carnival Conversations’ with a schedule of 180 events in North America during 2015.
The ‘Carnival Conversations: More Time Spent With You’ program will this year feature 11 roadshow events attended by Carnival executives and 169 regional Carnival Conversations training sessions and events with the Carnival sales team.
"We wanted to kick off the third year of Carnival Conversations by expanding the program in a big way so that we could engage with even more agents in more places than ever before," said Joni Rein, Carnival vice president of worldwide sales.
"Travel agents have responded very positively to the program over the last two years and with this expansion, we’re able to deliver exciting product training on new initiatives, including Fun Ship 2.0 and Carnival Vista, to agents on a more grassroots level," Rein added.
In each of the roadshow events, some of which will take place on Carnival ships, there will be training for sales and marketing techniques and an open mic Q&A session for agents to pose questions to executives.
