Carnival launches loyalty scheme for Aussie cruisers
Carnival Cruise Line has rolled out a rewards program targeted specifically at Australian cruisers.
The VIFP (Very Important Fun Person) program allows customers to earn points on every sailing along with additional perks such as invitations to exclusive parties, priority boarding, stateroom upgrades, and free Carnival merchandise.
"As our Australian guest numbers continue to grow, the time has come to introduce our reward program down under," said Carnival Cruise Line vice president Australia Jennifer Vandekreeke.
Our VIFP program, which is like being a VIP only way more fun, gives us the chance to recognise our most loyal guests, as well as those who are new to Carnival, with anyone able to join and take advantage of members-only offers."
The 2014 Cruise Lines International Association report shows Australia is the world’s fastest growing source market for cruise holidays, with an increase of 20.4% last year.
The number of Australian cruisers passed the one million mark for the first time in 2014.
