Carnival partners with Amazon for pre-Black Friday promotion

Saturday, 22 Nov, 2016 0
Carnival Cruise Line has joined forces with Amazon.com to offer a special pre-Black Friday sweetener.

The first 1,150 customers who click through Carnival’s ad on Amazon and proceed to book a cruise will get a free Amazon Echo Dot.

The offer is open until November 23.

It is valid for cruises departing between March 2017 and April 2019.

"Amazon has a huge audience with the potential to introduce thousands of new consumers to the world of cruising, so being one of the first cruise lines to work with them for a Black Friday promotion opens a world of possibilities," Carnival Cruise Line president Christine Duffy said in a statement.

"Both Carnival and Amazon offer an exceptional range of options and experiences in music, food, family and entertainment, which makes this an exciting collaboration."

The Amazon Echo Dot, which normally retails at $49.99, is a hands-free, voice-controlled device which allows users to play music, read the news and control smart home devices.
