Carnival shipboard operations exec stepping down
Carnival Cruise Line’s head of shipboard operations is leaving the company next week.
Ruben Rodriguez will step down on July 23 after six years in the post.
Rodriguez is leaving "to pursue a new career opportunity" and will be replaced by Gus Antorcha, who is senior vice president of guest operations and services.
Rodríguez joined the cruise line in 2007 as executive vice president of marketing and guest experience before assuming his current role in 2009.
"We thank Ruben for all that he has done for Carnival Cruise Line, and I am personally grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him," said Carnival president and CEO Christine Duffy.
Furthermore Martin Landtman will continue in his role as senior vice president of marine shipboard operations, Carnival said.
