Casino lawsuit: Blackjack game continued as guest suffered heart attack
A Las Vegas casino lawsuit alleges a guest suffered a heart attack while a blackjack game continued.
The family of Wynn Las Vegas guest David Jagolinzer said he slumped onto the blackjack table but the dealer continued to deal cards.
The casino lawsuit alleges Jagolinzer did not receive any medical care for nearly 20 minutes.
The incident happened in April 2022.
The suit states the dealer ‘continued to deal cards to another player and continued to play blackjack.’
“He remained slumped over on the blackjack table for an unreasonable amount of time while no one intervened.”
Instead, employees just counted Jagolinzer’s gaming chips, it said.
Jagolinzer was a prominent lawyer from Miami.
He eventually died in October 2022.
The lawsuit claims the delay in receiving help and the lack of defibrillator training by on site security were factors in the death.
