Cayman Islands ready for cruise ship calls again
The Cayman Islands is gearing up to welcome cruise ship calls again. It has been nearly two years since the last cruise ship called.
Ships will be able to dock from March 21, subject to government approval. In a phased restart, ships will be limited to 40% of previous passenger volumes. All passengers and crew are required to be fully vaccinated.
“The fact remains that while the pandemic persists, all travel, whether by air or sea, presents a certain degree of risk,” said Cayman Tourism Minister Kenneth Bryan.
