CCRA International acquires ABC Global Services
CCRA International has announced the acquisition of ABC Global Services.
The deal forms one of the industry’s most comprehensive travel agency consortium programs, they say.
The combined CCRA – ABC entity will support more than 9,000 travel agencies, and more than 40,000 travel advisors.
It adds up to more than US$7 billion in annual hotel sales and more than US$275 million in air bookings.
The tie-up will give clients centrally managed accounts, which streamlines communication and support.
The partnership also offers broader access to relevant audiences and programs and an expanded global reach.
The respective teams and contacts remain in place and Dee Runyan will continue in her role as president of ABC, reporting to Dic Marxen, CCRA’s CEO & president.
“This acquisition marks a pivotal new chapter for the travel advisor community,” Marxen said.
“Combining ABC’s global hotel and ground transportation offerings with CCRA’s air, accreditation, 24/7 call center agency support solutions and Global Supplier Network, positions us to deliver unparalleled value to agencies and suppliers.”
The ABC-CCRA Premier Hotel Program now numbers nearly 60,000 participating hotels worldwide.
