Cendant introduces new tool for independent hotels
Cendant says its new HotelPORTSM is designed to help independent hotels compete with the chains.
Said Fred Bean, vice president, Hotel Business Development for Cendant Travel Distribution Services:
“Smaller hotels typically have more modest budgets, but still require the visibility in the GDS and internet markets to drive RevPAR and ADR while keeping distribution costs to a minimum.”
He said the new system eliminated start-up costs for standard usage and monthly minimum fees that are commonplace.
