Choice Hotels launches new Planner Rewards program

Saturday, 18 Oct, 2016 0
Choice Hotels International is rolling out a new Planner Rewards program for meeting planners.

Available for bookings at 1,000 meeting-friendly hotels in North America, the program offers four Choice Privileges points for every dollar spent.

A minimum of 10 guestrooms booked for a single meeting or event is required, and Planners can earn up to 200,000 points by booking meeting space, guestrooms and on-site food and drink.

"Our Choice Privileges Planner Rewards program is perfect for large or small gatherings. There is no minimum spend requirement, so we welcome and reward planners who book all types of events, from business strategy sessions to just getting your team together in one place," said Robert McDowell, chief commercial officer, Choice Hotels

The Choice Privileges program was revamped earlier this year to offer faster rewards for members.

The program has now grown to more than 28 million members, the company says.

Reward nights are available at more than 6,000 hotels globally and at 500 Preferred Hotel Group luxury hotels.
