Choice names its top franchisees

Hotels from Brisbane, Parkes, Newcastle, Mackay and Adelaide were the big winners in Choice Hotels Australasia’s annual Franchisee of the Year awards this week.

Brisbane’s Econo Lodge City Star took out the Econo Lodge category while the Comfort Inn Parkes International was judged best Comfort.

Newcastle’s Quality Hotel NOAH’S On the Beach won the Quality category, Clarion Hotel Mackay Marina was best Clarion and Adelaide’s Rendezvous Allegra Hotel – Clarion Collection claimed best Clarion Collection.

Choice’s 48th annual conference was held at the RACV Royal Pines Resort and 30 Gold Award properties and 22 hotel team members were named Champions of Choice throughout the event.

Choice’s annual awards are nominated and judged by an executive panel from the group’s senior management and franchise service team.

Franchisee of the Year winners automatically qualify for Choice Hotels International’s Hotel of the Year Awards, to take place in the US next year.
