Christian cruise line finds heavenly new niche
Premiere Christian Cruises says what began as a “small crest has turned into a spiritual tidal wave.”
The line caters to Christians. And one of its most recent cruises, the 2007 Music Boat cruise sold over half of its cabins in less than two weeks, according to the company.
“We saw a huge niche for family vacations that were clean and wholesome and something more than a week away from home,” said co-owner Roy Morgan of the niche operator.
Premier Productions has been promoting recording artists for a decade. In2003, the company started their Christian music cruises.
“It’s more than a cruise. It’s a life-changing, boat-rocking experience that brings people closer together. Spiritual batteries are recharged. New directions are taken and lives are never the same,” says a press report from the company.
The cruise line now has three charters that offer Christian artists and speakers.
Mr Morgan says more ships will be added in the future.
