Club Med offers new ski guarantee for Christmas
Club Med is introducing a new ski guarantee for Christmas, giving customers a 50% refund if there’s not enough snow.
The all-inclusive operator is promising to pay back half the cost of their holiday if the national ski school cancels lessons due to insufficient snow.
It made the guarantee after December 2014 saw one of the worst snowfalls in 150 years.
The guarantee applies to holidays between December 20 and 27.
"We always do our best to run our ski lessons, but the weather can be unpredictable and in these cases, we are introducing a new assurance in the form of the ski guarantee so guests never miss out – even when the weather isn’t revealing peak conditions," said MD Estelle Giraudeau.
The new guarantee will run alongside the existing Club Med Snow Guarantee which ensures a 50% refund for each day that 50% of slopes are closed during the final weeks of the season, when snow cover is typically reduced.
