Concierge Travel Group acquired by Reed & Mackay
Corporate travel management company Reed & Mackay has announced the acquisition of Sydney-based Concierge Travel Group.
The 40-year old Concierge Travel has a workforce of about 45 and serves both corporate and leisure clients.
The deal for CTG includes brands Concierge Business Travel, Concierge Traveller and Elegant Resorts & Villas.
It is the official travel provider to the Australian Olympic Team.
The acquisition expands Reed & Mackay’s footprint in Asia Pacific after it launched in Singapore in May 2018.
"Australia is an important strategic market for our business with many clients operating in the APAC region. Concierge Travel Group is known for delivering service of the highest quality," said Fred Stratford, Reed & Mackay’s group CEO.
Concierge Travel Group managing director David Greenland and general manager Jamie Strickland will continue to run the business and lead the management team in Australia on behalf of Reed & Mackay.
Reed & Mackay’s acquired Hillgate Travel last year and French firm Frequent Flyer Travel Paris and Gray’s Travel Management in 2017.
