Conference calls for Burma travel
Orient Express has implemented conference calls to travel agents to familiarize them with travel to Burma. “This new service is something that our partners in travel really find helpful, as it clarifies many of the questions surrounding travel to this unique region,” said Anna Skubiak, marketing manager, Orient-Express Trains & Cruises. The Road to Mandalay is Orient’s five-star cruise that travels through the Ayeyarwady River in Burma, also known as Myanmar. The season is from January to April, and from September to December. Options include three-four-and seven-night itineraries, with prices starting at $2,260 per person. Special promotions offer savings, and there’s a Companions Travel Free promotion for some cruises. Agents are offered 10% commissions on inclusive packages. Report by David Wilkening
