Cosmos introduces Majorca winter breaks

Wednesday, 20 Aug, 2010 0

Cosmos is offering packages to Majorca for the full winter 2010/11 season focusing on the short stay city break and golf market.

The move comes following the announcement by sister airline Monarch of a new scheduled service to the destination from Gatwick and Manchester.

Properties are being offered in Palma and a small selection of resorts with prices from £239 per person for three nights’ bed and breakfast at the Hotel Costa Azul in Palma.

Golfers staying at the Iberostar Royal Cupido are entitled to one free green fee per person per day at the 18 hole Puntiro Golf Course – a saving of around 80 Euros a day.

Cosmos head of product and commercial for the western Mediterranean Ian Hailes said: “We are delighted to be able to introduce Majorca as a winter break destination.

"It’s the perfect flying time from the UK for a short break and offers quality hotels, restaurants and bars to suit all budgets.”

Flights will depart both Gatwick and Manchester each Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from November 2010 to April 2011.
