Cracks discovered in numerous Qantas jets?
A report by Macquarie National News’ LiveNews.com says that there are warnings poor Qantas safety standards will result in a mid-air disaster, after the apparent discovery of cracks in a number of jumbo jets.
The same drip tray crack caused an electrical fault on a flight to Bangkok earlier this week.
Scott Connolly from the Transport Workers Union says passengers should be very concerned for their safety.
“I think if Qantas passengers had a good, hard look at themselves – and a good, hard look at the airline – they’ll know that the Qantas that we once knew and were proud to have as our national carrier is no longer the Qantas that is in our skies today.”
