Crisis? What crisis? Bench launches Connoisseur Collection
SYDNEY – Bench International – Australia’s longest-operating African safari company – is taking a new direction with the introduction of a Connoisseur Collection range of itineraries.
Releasing the company’s latest brochure, Bench chairman Mike Kirkland said that the programme was an extension of the up-market itineraries Bench has been successfully operating in the east African destinations of Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zanzibar.
Kirkland said that he had gone ahead with launching the new programme despite the current economic situation.
He added, “We may have raised a few eyebrows by launching such a product at this time but it reflects our confidence in both our product and the consumer market.â€
The brochure highlights some of the most luxurious lodges, camps and hotels across the continent from Cape Town to Cairo and allows the customer the flexibility to personally plan their adventure with Bench International, when and to where they wish.
In 2009 Bench International celebrates its 40th year of safari operations.
